who can give me advice for E1

I have a headquarters and 4 branches, we need a router on the headquarters, we apply 4E1s from CO, and give 1E1 to each branche,

so the router should has 4E1 in along together, and 4E1 out separatly,

so who can suggest this kind of router for my headquarters.or related

DSU/CSU devices. if the router can do all job, that could be more convenient.

thank you in advance

Re: who can give me advice for E1

Take a look at the Cisco 2600 or 3600 products for your application. It’s hard to make a recommendation to you without knowing your network but your Cisco office will put the right design together for you.

Re: who can give me advice for E1

Are you applying ISDN PRI E1's (30 x 64 CAS signalling), or are you looking at E1 bandwidth?

If you are looking at dedicated E1's, a good advise would be the Cisco 2600 or Cisco 3600 families, but if you are looking at ISDN PRI, perhaps you should take a closer look to Ciscos AS5300'.

If Dedicated links, since we are looking at a total 8 E1's (4 in, 4 out):

Cisco 2620 or Cisco 2650

4 x WIC-2T (gives you 4 E1's)

NM-2W (gives you two slots for the additional 2 x WIC-2T)

You will need IOS 12.1 to support WIC-2T over NM-2W

If you are speaking ISDN PRI, try the Cisco 3661 with:

4 x NM-2CE1U (2 channelized E1's each)

t leaves you 2 expansion slots free for future growth.
