Re: Why am I not able to ping router from remote computer

I don't know what your topology is,

if you are directly connected (by dial)

to the 5350 or not. But things you

can try:

- ping from your remote to the next device

in the path to the 5350; keeping doing

that to the next device, to rule out

the other factors in the path.

- trace to the 5350 address, see how

far you make it.

- "debug ip icmp" and "debug ip error"

on the 5350, to see what it is receiving.

- Try pinging beyond the 5350, to

confirm other connectivity.

- ensure that the remote address is

in the routing table of the 5350.
