Why both the two sequence are valid?

I connect a 3550-12T and a 2950T-24 through 1000base-T port. When I do the cable, I found both two sequence are valid. One is 568A-568B, the other is obey CCO's document, reverse all four pairs. I know 1000base-T is use all four pairs of wires, but why both the two are valid??
