why do I get Open device slot0 failed (No device available) when I enter show flash command on my 7206

When entering show flash on my 7206vxr router I get: Open device slot0 failed (No device available) If I try to reformat it I get Error formatting slot0: (Unspecified error)

sh ver output:

I am getting this out put on my 7206vxr router:

Open device slot0 failed (No device available)

this is flash as per sh ver:

4096K bytes of Flash internal SIMM (Sector size 256K)

Why do I get this result?

Try: "show bootflash:"
