Why does the clockrate automatically change on a back to back serial connection?

The clockrate is automatically changing on the serial interface. Why would this be happening?

Re: Why does the clockrate automatically change on a back to bac

On a back-to-back connection, one

side would be designated a DCE (via

the physical cable) and the clocking

for the interface would be specifies

via a CLI command; certainly this

command, once saved to NVRAM, should

not change unless manually done.

I assume you are seeing the command

value change
