Hi,
The fan status might not be supported on all the devices.
I came accross 2 mibs very close
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4
ciscoEnvMonFanStatusTable OBJECT-TYPE
-- FROM CISCO-ENVMON-MIB
DESCRIPTION "The table of fan status maintained by the environmental
monitor."
::= { iso(1) org(3) dod(6) internet(1) private(4) enterprises(1) cisco(9) ciscoMgmt(9) ciscoEnvMonMIB(13) ciscoEnvMonObjects(1) 4 }
and
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.2.9
chassisFanStatus OBJECT-TYPE
-- FROM CISCO-STACK-MIB
SYNTAX Integer { other(1), ok(2), minorFault(3), majorFault(4) }
MAX-ACCESS read-only
STATUS Current
DESCRIPTION "Status of the chassis fan. If the status is not
ok, the value of chassisFanTestResult gives more
detailed information about the fan's failure
condition(s)."
::= { iso(1) org(3) dod(6) internet(1) private(4) enterprises(1) cisco(9) workgroup(5) ciscoStackMIB(1) chassisGrp(2) 9 }
The first one is for some routers and the second one is for switches.
I came accross a good tool which can be used for finding mib information.

He's using a 2611 and routers do not support CISCO-STACK-MIB. As for the ENVMON MIB support, need to use the CCO MIB Locator Tool to confirm whether the IOS runnng has this MIB present or not.

hi,
I havn't used CCO mib locator and,fan and power variable are difined in the same mib of cisco-env-mib,so there is no need to look for CCO mib locator.It was the same with TCP table,as TCP table and IP table could be found in the same mib of MIB-II,so I don't know why?
