when i use the command: show flash, i find that in my flash ,there are two files,one is my ios image,the other's name is "snmpengineid".And i don't konw what's the use of the "snmpengineid f" ile .Can i delete the file "snmpengineid" from my flash?
This is the file that your device stores the SNMPEngineID. If you are using SNMP to manage the switch you should probably not delete it or your SNMP tools may get confused. Even if you are not using SNMP you should probably leave it alone (I have no idea what IOS will do if it expects to be able to read its engine ID and cannot!). The SNMP Engine ID and user password are used to compute various authentication things, so you may not want to mess with it.
