Help, I'm being driven to madness over a simple point to point connection. The connection will come up and run perfectly with no errors until you reboot a router on either side and more often then not the connection will not resynch until both routers have been rebooted. I've tried 12.3 and 12.2 code, swapped cards all with the same result. If I put the card into loop on the front of the card the connection comes up immediately.

If you have a back to back connection, one of the routers must have clock source internal and the other must be line. If the

provider if giving clocking both routers must have clock source line if not then one must have line and the other internal.
