Do you have portfast enabled on your switch ports?

Hi,
As far as I know, Win2k is pure IP based now. Not like the NT 4 server where we can rely on the Netbeui.
Few things that you need to check:
1. Can you ping your win2k server by the IP address?
2. Can you ping your win2k server by the server host name?
If you failed on the first item, check your routing, your pc gateway and your server gateway. If you failed the second item, check whether the netbios name resolution is fully functioning. Then, make sure you have enable the netbois name resolution over tcp/ip. Another way to solve it by using the Wins server. By the way, are you using the Active Directory or just the pure NT Domain? For the AD, its depend on the DNS. Make sure you have the DNS being installed.
Best regards,
William
