Win XP Hyperterminal problem

I posted this message a couple of weeks ago in another forum but have not had any helpful replies. Perhpas someone here knows the answer?

I am using Hyperterminal 5.1 (WinXP Pro) as console to a C827. I encounter a very annoying problem. When I hit up arrow to repeat a command, instead of the command repeating I see the following output:

^@ <Carriage Return>

My configuration is as follows:

9600 BPS

8-N-1

VT100 Emulation

All other settings are at Hyperterminal default.

i have heard you need to download the private edition, i haven't tried it yet, but have been told this will give you the ability to use the up arrow to repeat commands without having to type them

Yes, Private Edition worked for me. I was having the same problems listed. Working fine now
