write bus error interrupt...

Hi,

I am having two routers say A & B both are Cisco 4500-M routers. A is having one ethernet module and two 4 high speed serial modules. B is having one ethernet, one module containing 2 high speed and 16 low speed(sync/async) and one 8 port BRI module. Due to our requirement, except ethernet modules, we have swapped all modules from A to B and B to A.

After that the A is now having BRI and one module of 2 high speed and 16 low speed serial ports and ethernet module. Whenever i am connecting the v.35 cable to one serial port, link is coming up, but is restarting in loop with this error...

"System received a write bus error interrupt"

Signal=0x15, Code = 0x0; context=0x60950130;

PC=0x602d8c68; cause=0x20 status reg=0x34008002

The context address is falling in the region( "sh region" ) command, in "main:bss".

Please provide me a solution as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance...

Rgds...

Ashok.

Disconnect the V35 cable to have the router reboot completely and provide us with a show version and show stack.
