Dear Sir!

A few years ago I buy WS-6509.

But the modern version marked as WS-6509-E

Can I buy modern modules for my old WS-6509 platform?

Best regards,

Maxim Denisov

For those that may browse this thread...Something more to add than the stock Cisco documentation may leave out as far as comparisons between the "E" chassis and the "standard" chassis. The only thing at this point in time that the E chassis gives you is the ability to run at 6000 watt power, period (not install a 6000 watt P/S, but run at 6000 WATTS)!! Also, the version 1 fan tray doesn't work we know, but the high speed fan tray 2 will not work either. The E chassis fan tray is much wider, as iss the slot to hold it.
