I have installed the NAM in a 6509.
I am unable to ping the ip address of the NAM from the Management of the switch it resides in.
I am unable to ping anything from the NAM session.
My management VLAN is 500.
I have been able to change the management vlan to 500 on other devices, such as IDS and PIX, but I do not see a means of changing the management VLAN for the NAM.
Can this be done, or do I have to "no shut" vlan 1.
Thank You
Mike

- NAM Model?
- Software version running on the NAM?
- Software version running on the Cat6K switch?

Network Analysis Module WS-SVC-NAM-2
NAM application image version: 2.2(1a)
Maintenance image version: 1.1(1)
NAM Daughter Card Micro code version: 1.14.1.21 (NAM)
BIOS Version: 4.0-Rel 6.0.4
