WS-SVC-NAM-2 Management VLAN

I have installed the NAM in a 6509.

I am unable to ping the ip address of the NAM from the Management of the switch it resides in.

I am unable to ping anything from the NAM session.

My management VLAN is 500.

I have been able to change the management vlan to 500 on other devices, such as IDS and PIX, but I do not see a means of changing the management VLAN for the NAM.

Can this be done, or do I have to "no shut" vlan 1.

Thank You

Mike

Re: WS-SVC-NAM-2 Management VLAN

To configure a VLAN for the NAM management port, you must use the "analysis module management-port access-vlan " command on the switch to make it work:

Re: WS-SVC-NAM-2 Management VLAN

- NAM Model?

- Software version running on the NAM?

- Software version running on the Cat6K switch?
