Hi!
I have a Catalyst 4006, with this configuration:
1000BaseX Supervisor WS-X4013 5.4(1) 6.1(1)
Router Switch Card WS-X4232-L3 12.0(7)W5( 12.0(10)W5(18f)
10/100BaseTx Ethernet WS-X4148-RJ
I will do upgrade in my physical network to category 6 cabling.
I have a doubt, if my actual configuration support new category 6 cabling.
May I upgrade Catalyst too?
Thks,
Paulo

Hi Paulo,
You don't need to upgrade anything on your switch just because you are now using Cat6 cabling. It should work just as well (if not better) than it did with Cat5/Cat5e cabling...
Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.
