My customer have an a Catalyst 5000 with 2 Supervisor type WS-X5530-E2A(active and redundant).

I have to replace one of them but I have found that it is in end of life.

Can I swap it with an WS-X5530-E3A,which I can receive from RMA?

So I'll have an a WS-X5530-E2A and an WS-X5530-E3A in the same chassy.

Is it possible?

You may be able to pay for RMA of E2A. It is end of sale but you can open a TAC case to pay for E2a if it is not covered under any contract.

I don't think you can have E2a/E3a in the same chassis
