Partially wrong. I've passed thru all the DS without finding a description of the 6148-GE for example. it is (I think) clearly oversubscribed, as I found in a other answer but it is not specified anywhere.

1) Yes, the 6316 1000base-T ports are auto-sensing and -negotiating.

2) The 48 ports share an 8 Gbps connection to the SFM

3) The 16 ports share a 16 Gbps connection to the bus (not SFM)
