WS-X6548-GE-TX errdisable

Greetings, I have a cat 6509 with a sup720 and when I insert a WS-X6548-GE-TX module it comes up in an errdisable state, I have rebooted the switch in the past to fix this but now it is loaded with servers, has any one seen this before ????

What version of software are you running on your 6509?

If it's a COS switch you may try resetting the module.

reset (slot#)

If it's an IOS switch you can power down the module then power it back up.

(config)#no power enable module (slot#)
