I realize that the WS-X6704-10GE= can take a CFC (centralises switching daughter card) or a DFC (distributed switching daughter card). When I order a WS-X6704-10GE= as a spare do I get the CFC card or DFC card or none mounted on teh WS-X6704-10GE= ?

Hi,

If you order WS-X6704-10GE, its a CEF 720 supprted card and is CFC by default. You can upgrade it to DFC by ordering an additional DFC daughter card .
