X25 over Ethernet working between cisco 2651 and HP9000?

I am trying to get the X25 traffic to be carried over the Ethernet between an HP9000 server and a cisco 2651 router using CMNS. So far, the LLC2 layer got established eg. SABME and UA. But as soon as the host sent an X25 Restart Indication to the router, the router ignores the X25 packet and continue the LLC2 layer until the host times out. I have tried this setup between 2 cisco routers and it is working fine.

Would you have any suggestion why the router is not responding to the host?

Re: X25 over Ethernet working between cisco 2651 and HP9000?

You might ensure that your X25 maps

are configured correctly, that your

X25 interface is configured correctly

and is UP/UP (I assume your HP is talking

to some X25 device via the cisco), and

have a look at "debug x25 packet" to see

if any packets are being switched out

the serial interface.
