X25 to TCP/IP translation

I have a problem with X25 to TCP/IP translation on links that do not send an x121 address in the call-setup.

Is there a way of using an X25 profile to insert a dummy source and destination address so that the translation mapping will work?

I am using a 7206 router running 12.2.8(T) and using RBP to do the translation.

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. Re: X25 to TCP/IP translation

Richard - which end is initiating the call - TCP or X25?? If its TCP, then you can use the below:

interface serial x/y

x25 map rbp local

x25 route subsitute-source interface serial x/y

If its X25 incoming, then would need a destination X25 address in the CALL REQ packet for SVC setup, or else use X25 PVCs!!
