Hi,

i need some help in configuring x25 on a dialer interface. I have a router with BRI interface and wants to run x25 over isdn.

1) how to map x25 on the dialer interface

2) how to transmit CUD (Caller user data) with the x.121 address of the remote host

Hi Noman,

if you plan to use X.31 Case A (X.25 over ISDN B-channel) have a look on:

1) The trick is to configure ppp and a dialer pool-member on the BRI interface. Then configure X.25 DTE/DCE encapsulation on the corresponding dialer pool interface. Thus you don't limit X.25/LAPB DTE or X.25/LAPB DCE on that BRI interface .

To bind an interface on incoming calls use "dialer caller". For X25 dialout you need to configure a "dialer string" and a "x25 route interface ".

2) CUD will be transmited tranparently by the router. Only on PAD calls initiated by the router it is possible to change the CUD.
