xmit-err on all ports of my 2948g

I have two WS-C2948G-GE-TX (10/100/1000) switches that runs CAT OS and they BOTH show xmit-err on ALL copper ports. There are very few rcv-err, if any. Fiber ports are fine. I'm running the following version:

WS-C2948G-GE-TX Software, Version NmpSW: 8.2(1)GLX

I can't believe I have bad switches since errors show up on both. And I can't believe cables are bad because all the port have errors...even hard coded 1G/Full duplex switch-to-switch cross over ports have errors. What's going on?

Probably cosmetic or you have someone who might be infected that is broadcasting out every port and over running the transmit buffers . Doubt it is a operational switch problem.

That's what I suspect as well... the counter triggers are too sensitive and recording false positives. But how can I be sure? What tests can I run to proof that it's not causing any issues? Thansk.
