XOT configuration problems

Hi,

I'm trying to establish an static pvc mapping 2 2600 routers across a clear channel circuit. On the first router, an X.25 device is connected on interface s0/3 and the WAN (clear channel) circuit is connected on s0/0. On the second router the X.25 device is connected on s0/1 and the WAN circuit is connected on s0/0.

When I issue the command:

x25 pvc 32 xot x.x.x.x interface serial 0/0 pvc 32

on either one of the interface that connect the x.25 device to the routters I get the error: %Invalid VC number. I get this error using any circuit number (1-4095). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Here is a link to the command reference for this command:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/fwan_r/x25cmds/wrfx252.htm#1030874

Keep in mind that the incoming and outgoing packet sizes and window sizes must match the remote PVC outgoing and incoming sizes. I have also seen layer 1 problems cause the "Invalid VC number" message... try pulling the cable and then entering the command.

have you defined x25 pvcs on your serial interface already? If not please go to the link below and make sure you have defined the PVCs first and then add this command in:
