Re: 1720 and cisco secure vpn client

I recently have known the following list :

* Supporting Cisco VPN Network Configuration

cisco router -- cisco router

cisco router -- cisco pix

cisco router -- cisco concentrator

cisco pix -- cisco concentrator

cisco client soft -- cisco pix

cisco client soft -- cisco concentrator

if you will use vpn client soft, you must use cisco pix or cisco concentrator.

Thank you.

Re: 1720 and cisco secure vpn client

The following url should help:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/ios_D.html

Also, you can use the "Cisco Secure VPN Client" 1.0 or 1.1 for Win 9.x machines or a newer client from Safenet for W2K to connect to your IOS. The "Cisco VPN Client" aka "Unified Client" will only work for the PIX 6.0 and and above and VPN concentrators.

The following link states that IOS 12.1(7)T should support the new client and may answer some other questions for you.
