2600 loading new IOS image with xmodem

I have to reload my 2651XM router as a result of

loadprog: bad file magic number: 0x0 boot: cannot load "flash:"

the guy who sold me the router very kindly provided a CD full of stuff and on the CD in a folder called 26XM IOS there are the following 5 files:

c2600-adventerprisek9-mz.124-2.T.bin 29073 KB 02/12/2005

c2600-advsecurityk9-mz.124-9.T1.bin 17776 KB 25/08/2007

c2600-ipvoicek9-mz.124-4.T1.bin 24102 KB 08/11/2006

c2600-jk9o3s-mz.123-13.bin 20658 KB 14/08/2005

c2600-spservicesk9-mz.124-2.T1.bin 24811 KB 04/08/2007

as I write this I am uploading c2600-adventerprisek9-mz.124-2.T.bin, but am I supposed to upload them all or just the one?

Thanks for any pointers.

Just load one - the version you want to run. However there are limitations on which image you can run - which depends on how much NVRAM and Flash memory you have.

ok thanyou andrew. From the list of available files shown, which is the best one to load? (assuming memory wasn't a problem).

Re: 2600 loading new IOS image with xmodem

Ha - that all depends on what you are trying to achive? if it's just for a test lab doing nothing special, then c2600-jk9o3s-mz.123-13.bin = basic.

The functionality is mostly in the image title!

Just my opinion!
