3005 windows client, how secure?

I want to migrate VPN remote users to a 3005 concentrator.

They are currently using RAS and IAS. I want to migrate them and if I don't have to change the client, leave it as is.

How secure is the Windows Virtual Private connection client using

MSCHAP V2?

Does it need to have the Encyption set in the User configuration?

The clients will authenticate through Windows IAS from the concnetrator.

How much more secure would the Cisco VPN client?

Hello,

windows client uses MPPE, while Cisco VPN client uses IPSec, and can use DES/3DES/AES encryption, so from encryption standpoint Cisco VPNC is much more secure.
