6500 - MSFC, FWSM and VPNSM

I'm not familar to the environment and want to understand how it works.

I guess FWSM and VPNSM is totally separated configuration and using different VLANs each other. for example, VPN terminating in the VPNSM configured VLAN and forward to the FWSM VLAN.

Can I have a configuration example in the combined enviroment that MSFC, FWSM and VPNSM? or useful URL?

To the best of my knowledge, VLANs are either associated with the MSFC or FWSM, but not both at the same time
