How to see the native, hybrid mode in 6513 using sh command
07-25-2006 01:29 AM
Hello aksher@cisco,
Type "show ver". Anything that starts with 12.1E or 12.2SX is native. Anything that starts with 5.1-8.5 is hybrid mode.
Also, if you spend a little time on 2 switches (1 running native, the other hybrid), it is quite apparent what mode the switch is running.

how to switchover between these two modes.

Hello aksher@cisco,
This is not a trivial task. Here are links for both conversions.

Actually you asked "How to see the native, hybrid mode in 6513 using sh command" That is why I posted what I posted. I saw you posted another message asking about transparent mode. I too sent you a link there with instructions on what needs to be done. Hope that helps!
