aaa accounts on cisco asa

Hi all, is there any reason the asa will not let me create a local user account, it lets me set it up in the asdm but soes not let me apply any changes in there, can anyone help?

Carl, what error message are you geting? when you create a user account under device administration you also need to configure or enable LOCAL Authentication/Authorization under Device Access > AAA access.

Hi there, basically when i set up the user in adsm its ok, but when i come to apply it, it come up with an error, and gives me the option to resend the command. also i have got authentication enabled but not authorization, i was told i dont need to enable authorization as the option for priviledge levels can be set on the user setup
