I am consistantly getting a DNS error when attempting to access my PIX via the https://ipaddress function. I got in yesterday, removed an outside ip from its access into the network and now I cannot get into the utility. I cannot even get past the 1st password prompt when I try to telnet in. I have all of the passwords I setup with TAC last year and none of them work (been trying for 2 days now). Please help.

Hello Craig,
Can you connect to the PIX via the consol port with the apporiate cable and have got PDM running on your PIX ? If you can get onto the PIX via consol port and you have PDM (Pix Device Manager) running then what you'll need to do to access the PDM is -
>http server enable
>http
For telnet -
>telnet
The above config is from PIX IOS 6.2, make sure you use cmd 'wr m' (write memory) to save your changes.
Let me know how you get on and if you can post you PIX config (please remember to remove ALL real IP's and passwords)
Hope this helps --
