Access to ASDM using Windows Vista 64bit.

I'm using Vista 64 bit. When I try to access ADSM, using launcher, the system continues to prompt for authentication!

Any ideas!?

ADSM v 6.1.5(51).

Andrea,

ASDM is not a 64-bit application. I don't think that it is going to work.

Did you try 32 bit OS ?

Hello Andrea,

I run ASDM on VISTA 64, but there is a trick, make a shortcut to the ASDM launcher. right click and select properties, on the compatibility tab check off run program in compatibility mode, then select xp service pack 2 from the list. You should be good to do. Make sure you have the latest and greatest ASDM as there is also java issues you may run into.

Good! With this trick I'm able to lunch ADSM, using launcher v1.5(30). ASDM reads configuration successfully but the GUI is not complete: click on Device Setup, Interface but right frame doesn't show anything!

Could you report your Java version?

java version 6 update 11. Looks like update 12 is out, haven't tried that yet.
