Hello all,

I have an ACS 4.0 windows server. Recently, I tried to edit an account and received the message "Failed to edit <username>. Reason: User is being edited elsewhere" I tried to access various other areas and received similar messages. For example, I tried to perform a restore and received a message "Failed to gain access to System Restore.

Reason: System Restore is being used elsewhere".

It seems to me that the server database is corrupt, but I'm not sure where to look or how to restore it. Can anyone point in a good direction?

Install ACS server on a test system and restore your backed up User database there, then check if everything works fine then reinstall the production ACS server.
