ACL help - 106006

Hi everyone::-

I recieve syslog error:

%ASA-2-106006: Deny inbound UDP from 192.168.115.16/3343 to 192.168.103.3/3343 on interface INSIDE

What do "on interface INSIDE" mean? Coming into INSIDE interface from less secure interface? Or on way out from INSIDE interface to less secure interface?

Hi Beavis,

The syslog indicates the UDP packet was dropped as it first entered the inside interface. In this case, the packet arrived at the firewall on the inside interface.
