ACS integration with Linux NDS LDAP

I am busy implementing an ACS and have completed the 802.1X authentication using the Cisco Secure Database. This is working fine.

I then changed user database to point to the Linux NDS LDAP server and everytime I try to authenticate I get the following message in the logs:

Auth type not supported by External DB

50017

EAP-MD5

I am using the ACS appliance V3.3.

I am testing with a Microsoft client.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think the issue is Cisco Secure ACS does not support this style of user name when authenticating against an all servers. The resolution is to change the format equivalent to entering the linux server. Continue to prefix account names with the linux -style domain name
