Will Cisco ACS v2.6 for WinNT/2000 reject a connection request from a NAS while the database is down for replication, or will it accept the request and just not be able to service the authentication? I'm trying to verify that the NAS (an iPass RoamServer in this instance) will fail over to the secondary ACS as desired. Thanks.
If your configuration is correct, then yes, the NAS will request authentication from the primary ACS host. Should that fail (due to database replication or any other reason, the NAS should query the secondary server.
