Adding Sensors, Watchdog Timeout

Using IDSMC 1.2, when I try to add a sensor by discovering its own settings, I get this message:

"Error importing configuration files from the sensor - the system exec did not complete within the given watchdog time."

SSH works fine, and the username and password arer set right. Not sure what the problem could be. I hunted around for a file which would contain the watchdog timer settings, but I couldnt find it.

Hi,

Is it 4.x IDS? What does the current show version says? Try to unplug the sniffing interface, reboot the sensor and then try to add the sensor.
