Allow DHCP thru to the VPN

What do I need to configure on a PIX to allow VPN clients connecting to a vpn3000 off the DMZ to accept DHCP addresses from a DHCP server on the inside of the PIX?

NOTE: the vpn3000 is connected into the public and external(dmz), the private interface is not plugged in. Thus the external is plugged into the DMZ segment off the PIX.

Re: Allow DHCP thru to the VPN

Hi,

Good question. I am fairly sure this has come up in the past but I, personally have never seen this request. In theory, this should work if you upgrade the PIX tp 6.3(3) and use the dhcprelay feature (new). I am wondering if the PIX is going to get confused because all of the requests are actually coming from the concentrator rather than a multitude of hosts. Give it a shot and let us know.
