AOL 8.0 Browser and Cisco VPN Client 3.6.3

Hi,

We are initiating a VPN to the remote network using cisco VPN Client 3.6.3, we are able to connect to the remote network successfully. We use IE, Netscape and AOL to browse the servers at the remote end. We are able to browse using IE and Netscape but not with AOL, once we open AOL the vpn client gets disconnected or it hangs no response from the remote end and no network activity. Is there any compatibility issue with AOL 8.0 and Cisco VPN client 3.6.3 or do we need to do some settings to make this working.

Thanks and Regards

Salim

Are you using "split tunneling"? AOL uses a VPN connection itself you may have a conflict. You can split tunnel and use more than one VPN connection.

Re: AOL 8.0 Browser and Cisco VPN Client 3.6.3

Hi,

The site which we are trying to access through AOL is accessible only through VPN connection it is not on the Internet it is just for software testing, so we cannot use split tunneling in this scenario. We are accessing the same site using IE and Netscape and it is working fine.

Thanks and Regards,

Salim.
