Appletalk loadsharing

I am trying to loadshare Appletalk over 3 equal paths. I understand I have to use the maximum-paths command, but I can only get one of the 3 T1's to come up and up for Appletalk. ("sho appletalk int brief shows the port up, protocol down.") Why won't these other 2 circuits come up for Appletalk. They are up and up for IP.

Re: Appletalk loadsharing

The show appletalk route command output will help you narrow down the possibilities. Of special interest is the section dealing with what the routing table should look like with load balancing configured. Also, AppleTalk load balancing is available in Cisco IOS Release 11.2. (URL:http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1831/products_command_reference_chapter09186a00800ca64d.html#xtocid195111)

The ' interface is up, protocol is down' indicates a more basic problem. I guess you should re-check your encapsulations, clockrates and keepalives.
