What are the steps to upgrade ASA 5510 to Security Appliance 7.2(1) with ASDM 5.2.1?

It gives you correct sequence for the upgrade. The steps are very similar when you upgrade PIX.

hello, now I want to upgrade my ASA 5510 version 7.0 (7) to versioin 8.2.2, but I have two questions regarding the upgrade process:

1. I upgrade in one step from version 7.0 (7) to version 8.2.2 or should do so incrementally, if incrementally, by which versions should I go before you get to 8.2.2

2. When upgrading I should first upgrade the ASDM and ASA software
