Hello all,
Please give me your suggestions on the following:
1) I need to enable trunking/vlans on the outside interface of ASA 5520. I have 2 routers on the outside, with different networks, which needs to be connected. Am sure I can enable vlans on the outside interface, but just need to confirm on this. I have a switch, which will connect the cables from the router and the ASA 5520 devices.
2) I also have a IPS 4215 box procured. Where can I best fit this? Can I put this on the same switch, used for outside, and do a mirroring/spanning for the traffic going out or can i put it online somehow?
Regards
Raj
