ASA and default policy

I have an ASA that was originally configured by a consultant. I have been reading about the default policy definitions that uses the class map inspection_default, the policy map asa_global_fw_policy and the service policy "asa_global_fw_policy global." However, in the case of my ASA:

- inspection_default doesn't have the match default-inspection-traffic statement

- the policy map only has inspect statements which I inserted myself for troubleshooting purposes

- no service policy to apply the policy map shows up in the config, even when I do a show run all

My question: Is it normal for the default class map, policy map and service policy to not show up in the config, even using show config all? Or do the circumstances highlighted above essentially mean that the default policy definitions are no longer present and must be recreated?
