ASA Degrades speed

Hi guys,

Got an issue with a site-to-site vpn. Bear in mind this VPN is over our gigabit core network.

Doing an scp from one unix box to another it shows us speeds of starting at approx 500KB/s and over about 10 secs goes down to about 200KB/s.

We tested a 6 MB file and it takes about 30 secs. Windows file copy takes about the same.

I hope this is too long for an ASA to ASA VPN.

I have tried some different MTU settings.

Any ideas or tips would be appreciated.

Regards

Stephen
