ASA DHCP

Hi All,

Need some assistance in ASA 5540 with OS 7.2 as a DHCP Server.

I have created subinterfaces on the firewall. I want the firewall to act as a DHCP Server which assigns different ip addressess to different vlan (Voice, Video & Data). Is this possible or not ? If yes how do I achieve this?

Regards,

Rishikesh Khedkar

Re: ASA DHCP

hi

This should be possible.

configure "dhcpd address ip_address-ip_address interface_name" and option for each of the sub-interfaces. Then enable dhcp on each sub-interface with "dhcpd enable interface_name".

regards

John
