ASA VPN accessing Internet

After I connect to our ASA firewall VPN I can get on everything on our network fine. However, Some of the people that use this also need to access the internet at the same time and you can not open any websites after connecting to the VPN. We us VPN client 4.6. Is there anyway to get this to work?

Re: ASA VPN accessing Internet

Tim,

Do you have Split Tunneling enabled on the ASA. If you enable split tunneling, the user will tunnel to ASA only traffic defined in the Split Tunneling List.

There is a certain level of risk involved in enabling Split Tunneling and this is documented in the below URL.

PIX/ASA 7.x: Allow Split Tunneling for VPN Clients on the ASA Configuration Example

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/ps6120/products_configuration_example09186a0080702999.shtml

I hope it helps.

Regards,

Arul
