Hi. I have a question regarding ASA 5510 SEC-BUN-K9 bundle as our company has ordered a K9 bundle but when I enter show version command on the ASA I can see that the system image file is named asa706-k8.bin.
Is that normal or has there been a mix up as on the box it says it's a K9 bundle.

It is not a mixup nor a problem. It is normal for the image name to say k8 when the ASA is described as a K9 bundle. The names are inconsistent, but the ASA should function as you expect it to.

I don't believe those two numbers have anything to do with each other.
