Hi,

Can I add CSC-SSM module to ASA5520-AIP10-K9 to get the complete anti-x features plus the IPS ones?

Hi -

The CSC module for Anti-X and the AIP module for IPS both occupy the expansion slot in the ASA.

There is only one slot, so you can only have one of the cards at a time inside the ASA.

You can always consider an external Anti-X box to an ASA with the IPS or an external IPS sensor to an ASA with the CSC module inside.

Thanks a lot.. I thought that the ASA5520-AIP10-K9 has an empty SSM slot, because I thought that the SSM-AIP10 is a builtin module in this IPS Edition box.
