Running an ASA5520 7.0(1)that will periodically "reset". All VPN traffic then gets cut off until we manually re-enter the DNS info that was "saved" to flash. Ideas? Thanks.
Our internal DNS -- we simply relay internally to the "real" world. The LAN access of course, does not work without the DNS info in the ASA. There are really two questions here: why the spontaneous reset, and why does saved DNS info not save?
Via ASDM, under the VPN tab, General tab, Group Policy definition, is a default group policy that contains the primary and secondary DNS IP addresses. Yes, it says it has saved it to flash, but the spontaneous reboot clears this one setting.
