automate logging/tracking specific dhcpd statistics on PIX
I manage a PIX 515 at a hotel on which the DMZ port is used to provide Internet access to clients. The PIX is configured as a dhcp server on the DMZ. I want to track how many clients connect to the Internet throughout the evening. I can manually logon throughout the evening and issue the command: sh dhcpd statistics and see the # of automatic bindings. But, how do I automate this process and send "just" this info to a log file? I could use Kiwi syslog server, direct the PIX logs to this server, and filter on keywords. But this would generate too much info. I want the number of automatic bindings every 2 hours from 5:00 pm to midnight.
